Fortunately, most homeowners that experience major water damage will have homeowners insurance to pay for the repairs. However; navigating the insurance claim process can be extremely confusing and frustrating. When you are contracted with Ross Brothers, one of our trained and certified professionals will assess the extent of the water damage in your home. Ross Brothers Property Restoration is recognized by all major insurance carriers and when we are your contracted restoration company, we will work with your insurance carrier on your behalf. We will work to ensure that your claim is processed as quickly as possible and that the settlement covers every aspect of the damage.
For project estimates, we use an insurance industry standard estimating program called Exactamate. This allows us to communicate directly with the insurance carrier in their own language. An Exactamate estimate typically contains 30-40 pages and is precise down to the minutest detail including items like the quantity, type and size of the nails and screws to be used.
Upon completion of the estimate, we meet with your insurance carriers’ adjuster and walk the entire project with them to compare notes and ensure that they have included everything required to completely restore your property. Remember… an insurance adjuster is not a general contractor… and may not pick up on certain details that are important to do a complete and proper restoration.
