Fortunately; most homeowners have insurance that will in most cases cover damage from natural disasters. Ross Brothers Property Restoration works directly with all major insurance company’s and when you contract with us to repair your home, we will work directly with your carrier to expedite your claim and get your home repaired in the least amount of time possible.
The insurance claim process can be tricky and confusing. Insurance company’s look to settle claims for as little as possible. By working with your companies adjuster, Ross Brothers will help ensure that your settlement will cover all of the repairs necessary to restore your home to better than new condition. And unlike a public adjuster that will receive up to 20% of your settlement claim; once you have contracted with us to restore your home, we include these services at no additional cost to you.

STEP 1
MINIMIZE FURTHER DAMAGE
Upon review and confirmation of your insurance coverage, the first step is to immediately contain the damage and secure the property to mitigate any further damage. This includes initial cleaning, drying and dehumidifying the property. By employing the latest technology including centrifugal air movers, high density cavity dryers and thermal moisture detectors; we will be certain that all moisture has been 100% removed.
STEP 2
DIAGNOSE & ASSESS
Once the property has been secured and you have engaged Ross Brothers to repair your home, our restoration and engineering teams take on step 2 which is to diagnose and assess all the causes of damage.
STEP 3
PLANNING THE PROJECT
Step 3 is really the game changer… First we will assign you to your personal project manager. Your project manager is your eyes and ears on the job and will be available to you until the day you and your family move back in to your home. All the while after we are contracted to do the job, we’ll be working hand in hand with your insurance carrier to make sure that no detail, regardless of how small will be left out of your homes reconstruction.
For project estimates, we use an insurance industry standard estimating program called Exactamate. This allows us to communicate directly with the insurance carrier in their own language. An Exactamate estimate typically contains 30-40 pages and is precise down to the minutest detail including items like the quantity, type and size of the nails and screws to be used.
STEP 4
INSURANCE PAPERWORK
Upon completion of the estimate, in step 4 we meet with your insurance carriers’ adjuster and walk the entire project with them to compare notes and ensure that they have included everything required to restore your property to like new condition. Remember… in most cases an insurance adjuster is not a general contractor… and may not pick up on certain details that are important to do a complete and proper restoration.
STEP 5
BEGIN RESTORATION
The final step is for our restoration craftsmen and craftswomen to begin construction and get you back in your home as quickly as possible. We understand that that we are working with a lot more than just your property… we are rebuilding your future and restoring your hope. Throughout the duration of the reconstruction, your project manager will be your contact and will keep you 100% in the loop and with Ross Brothers Property Restoration; the job is never completed until you are 100% satisfied.
